Registration is open for the ABCD Conference 2024, which will be held in Bristol.
As usual there are exciting evening sessions and dinner on 4th September followed by a varied full day programme on 5th September. Once again this year we are offering discounted rates for the meeting and dinner.
Packed with highly relevant presentations this conference offers professional education, update, development and networking for clinicians working in diabetes and endocrinology. Listen to UK leaders in their field give high quality presentations and gain further understanding in specialist areas as well as areas of much debate.
Immediately preceding the ABCD Conference is the ABCD Diabetes Technology Network UK Meeting which will run on 4th September.

Please note that dinner and accommodation is NOT included in the registration rates for this event. Daytime refreshments and a buffet lunch will be provided.
We welcome abstracts on any subject relating to Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Medicine, which might be of interest to members of the Association. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to display their work in the form of a poster at the meeting on 5th September. Those meeting the criteria for publication will be published on the ABCD and BJD websites.

The prize for each award is a £500 travel award to present the abstract at an International conference. The authors of the winning posters will also be asked to present their work at a future ABCD webinar.
The deadline for submissions is Thursday 13th June 2024 at 11.59am (midday).
If you have submitted an abstract, you will be notified as to whether or not your abstract has been selected for presentation by Thursday 4th July 2024.
The ABCD registration and hospitality desk will be located outside the Bristol Suite from 08.00 - 19.30 hours on 4th September and from 08.00 - 17.00 hours on 5th September.
Upon registration, you will receive your conference badge. We request that you please wear your badge throughout the meeting. The conference organising team will be based at this desk throughout the conference should you have any queries.
Accommodation
You will need to make your own accommodation booking should you require it. There is a large variety of accommodation in Bristol offering a range of prices and styles.
Accreditation
Accreditation for this meeting has been sought by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 6 category 1 (external) CPD credits for full attendance. Certificates of attendance will be available to download from your dashboard after the event.
Cancellation & refunds
In the event of cancellation, delegate fees are only refundable until 7th August 2024. After this date no refunds will be issued. All refunds are subject to a £10 administration fee.
Catering
Your delegate fee includes tea and coffee at designated breaks and a buffet lunch. We will endeavor to cater for any dietary requirements that have been specified to us beforehand.

Please note, the conference dinner is not included in the meeting registration fee. There are limited places available for the dinner, please book this when registering for the event.

In the event that a conference is cancelled or cannot take place for any reason outside the control of ABCD, the registration fees will be refunded in full. The total liability of ABCD shall be limited to that refund only and it shall not be liable for any other loss, cost or expense, howsoever arising.
Delegates are advised to take out appropriate travel insurance cover.
All delegates attending events must comply with relevant current government guidance at the time of the event. Delegates are asked to take all possible precautions against spreading infection through the wearing of masks and frequent hand washing. Delegates are asked to advise the event team if they test positive for COVID-19.
