Dr. Lucinda Summers

Dr Lucinda Summers is a Consultant in Endocrinology, working in the tertiary medical weight management service at the Northern Care Alliance and for MoreLife (UK) Ltd. Lucinda qualified in medicine at King’s College, London, in 1990. She worked in several London hospitals before completing her training in 2000. In 2000 she was awarded the Young Researcher Award by the Association for the Study of Obesity for work she did whilst completing a DPhil within the Oxford Lipid Metabolism Group from 1995 to 1998. She has published on adipose tissue, obesity, insulin resistance and cardiovascular risk and continues to be interested in these areas.
