Dr. Neera Agarwal

Dr Neera Agarwal studied medicine at Cardiff University and undertook specialist training in Diabetes and Endocrinology in Wales. She completed her PhD on Pharmacological Modulators of the Metabolic Syndrome and is a Consultant Diabetologist at the University Hospitals in Cardiff where she has a particular interest in type 1 diabetes & technology, in-patient care, pregnancy and diabetes and diabetes in young adults. She has a further interest in training and education, leads the postgraduate diabetes education programmes at Cardiff University, is the training programme director for Endocrinology & Diabetes training in Wales and current Vice-Chair of the UK Specialist Advisory Committee.
