Daniel Flanagan MD FRCP is a Consultant Physician working at University Hospital, Plymouth. He is the clinical lead for the Diabetes Care Accreditation Programme. He graduated from St Bartholomew’s Hospital London. His medical training continued in London and then Wessex. In addition he has held positions as visiting lecturer in the University of Adelaide and an Associate at Yale University School of Medicine USA.
He is an honorary associate professor at the Peninsula University Plymouth Medical School. He has worked as Chief of Medicine and associate medical director at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, as a member of the Department of Transport Medical Advisory Panel on Driving and Diabetes, a medical advisor to the CQC and part of the NHSE clinical reference group for specialist endocrinology.
