The ABCD DIY APS audit was conceived in 2019 as a way of recording and assessing the real-world clinical outcomes associated with do-it-yourself artificial pancreas systems.

This management guideline has been jointly developed by ABCD and the Renal Association and focuses on monitoring strategies designed to improve safety and assist in the more effective treatment of individuals who have advanced chronic kidney disease requiring dialysis alongside their diabetes.
