Please note that dinner and accommodation is NOT included in the registration rates for this event. Daytime refreshments and a buffet lunch will be provided.
We welcome abstracts on any subject relating to Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Medicine, which might be of interest to members of the Association. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to display their work in the form of a poster at the meeting on 7th November. Those meeting the criteria for publication will be published on the ABCD and BJD websites.

The prize for each award is a £500 travel award to present the abstract at an International conference.
The authors of the winning posters will also be asked to present their work at a future ABCD webinar to be held in early December 2025
The deadline for submissions is Friday 15th August 2025 at 23.59.
If you have submitted an abstract, you will be notified as to whether or not your abstract has been selected for presentation in Sepetmber.
The ABCD registration and hospitality desk will be located inside the Gateshead Suite from 08.00 - 19.30 hours on 6th November and from 08.00 - 17.00 hours on 7th November.
Upon registration, you will receive your conference badge. We request that you please wear your badge throughout the meeting. The conference organising team will be based at this desk throughout the conference should you have any queries.
Accommodation
You will need to make your own accommodation booking should you require it. There is a large variety of accommodation in Newcastle offering a range of prices and styles.
Accreditation
Accreditation for this meeting will be sought by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 6 category 1 (external) CPD credits for full attendance. Certificates of attendance will be available to download from your dashboard after the event.
Cancellation & refunds
In the event of cancellation, delegate fees are only refundable until 6th October 2025. After this date no refunds will be issued. All refunds are subject to a £10 administration fee.
Catering
Your delegate fee includes tea and coffee at designated breaks and a buffet lunch. We will endeavour to cater for any dietary requirements that have been specified to us beforehand.
Conference Dinner
Please note, the conference dinner is not included in the meeting registration fee. There are limited places available for the dinner, please book this when registering for the event.

In the event that a conference is cancelled or cannot take place for any reason outside the control of ABCD, the registration fees will be refunded in full. The total liability of ABCD shall be limited to that refund only and it shall not be liable for any other loss, cost or expense, howsoever arising.
Delegates are advised to take out appropriate travel insurance cover.
All delegates attending events must comply with relevant current government guidance at the time of the event. Delegates are asked to take all possible precautions against spreading infection through the wearing of masks and frequent hand washing.
