The 19th Malvern Diabetic Foot Conference
The 2022 conference, taking place 11th - 13th May 2022, will be the 19th meeting since its inception in 1986 and brings together experts on the diabetic foot from up to 30 countries, predominantly North America and Western Europe. This three day conference is designed to engage physicians, surgeons, podiatrists, orthotists and nursing staff with a common interest in diabetic foot problems, and offers the opportunity to connect with industry on the latest innovations and trends.

Obesity is increasingly becoming a common cause for chronic kidney disease, even in the absence of diabetes or hypertension. In this webinar Dr Neil Docherty, Dr Andrew Frankel and Dr Ricardo Cohen will be discussing the pathophysiology, and medical and surgical treatment options for people with obesity and kidney disease. This will include pharmacotherapy and bariatric surgery to achieve the BMI cut offs for kidney transplantation.

NCEPOD are exploring the process of the transition of young people with complex chronic conditions from child to adult health services.
The aim of the study is to explore the barriers and facilitators in the process of the transition of young people with complex chronic conditions from child to adult health services.
Information is being collected from primary, community, physical and mental healthcare settings.
