ABCD postpone all upcoming meetings

ABCD has made the decision to postpone annual DTN/ABCD and regional meetings for 2020 in the wake of Covid-19 virus.

The country remains in the grip of Corona virus and it would appear that the global case load is increasing. The WHO has declared Europe at the epicentre of this pandemic. The directors of ABCD have been closely monitoring developments and we will continue to communicate about this to you.

An update from JBDS and Diabetes UK at DUK 2020

Olivia Burr from DUK and Prof Ketan Dhatariya will be chairing a session at the Diabetes UK Professional Conference 2020 entitled “Inpatient Care for People with Diabetes: An update from JBDS and Diabetes UK”

In this session you will be updated with what JBDS has been doing for the last few months, and what they hope to do in the coming months. Olivia will also be talking about what is happening with her work with the RCP on accrediting inpatient diabetes services.
