Venue & travel

Royal Armouries Museum, Armouries Drive, Leeds, LS10 1LT.

The meeting will be held in the Royal Armouries Hall which is located on the ground floor, close to the museum entrance.

Registration fee

There is a small charge of £40 per person for attendance at the DTN team event. You may register on line and pay by credit card via Paypal. 

Registration on site

Please come to the Royal Armouries Hall A & B on arrival to register and receive your badge. Please wear your badge at all times.

On site course materials

This meeting will run as a paperless event and all course materials will be available via dedicated web pages. All delegates will be sent details of how to access these pages a few days prior to the course. Please bring your own paper and pen if you wish to make notes on the day as these will not be available on site.

All the meeting rooms are located on the ground floor and close to the Museum's main public entrance.

Covid safety

The Royal Armouries Musem are following government guidelines and it is not compulsory for you to wear a mask at the venue.  Signage is present and hand sanitisers are available throughout the building. If you don’t feel well once you have joined the Course, please let the course organisers know. The majority of you are being tested regularly but please ensure that you have a negative test result taken in the 24 hours prior to the event. Please do not attend the Course if you are displaying any symptoms immediately prior to the event.

Accreditation

Accreditation has been sought from the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for category 1 (external) CPD credits.. A certificate of attendance will be available to download after the event.

Cancellation & refunds

In the event of cancellation of your attendance at the meeting, delegate fees are only refundable until 2nd June 2023. After this date no refunds will be issued. All refunds are subject to a £10 administration fee.

Catering

All refreshments & lunch on 16th June will be served in the Royal Armouries Hall A & B. We will endeavour to cater for any dietary requirements that have been specified before the day but regret that it may not be possible to provide a special diet if we have not been notified in advance.

Accommodation

You will need to arrange your own accommodation if needed. There are a variety of hotels in Leeds to suit all budgets.

Become a Member of the DTN-UK

The DTN-UK is designed to support UK health care professionals who are involved in the delivery of technologies designed to improve the lives of people living with diabetes. Healthcare professionals working in diabetes are welcome to register as a member of the DTN-UK. The education resources and best practice guides are free to access for all.
