Professor F. Susan Wong is Professor of Diabetes and Metabolism at Cardiff University and Honorary Consultant Physician in Diabetes at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.
Her clinical interests interests include the use of continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion pump therapy for type 1 diabetes, supporting DAFNE education, improving advice on exercise and type 1 diabetes, and treatment of cystic fibrosis related diabetes.
Her research is focused on the immunology of type 1 diabetes with a major interest in on pathogenesis of type 1 diabetes as well as development of immunotherapy for type 1 diabetes.
