ABCD Membership

Thank you for becoming a member of ABCD.

We take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your account to provide the services you have requested. Our privacy policy is available at any time on the website.

Full Membership of ABCD is open to Consultants in Diabetes, Endocrinology and associated specialties, as well as SpRs or other trainees in these specialties working in the United Kingdom.

If you are a UK nurse or an allied healthcare professional working  predominantly in diabetes healthcare/management in NHS primary, secondary or tertiary care or a clinical and non-clinical university academic working in diabetes research, you may be eligible for Associate Membership.

International membership is open to consultant physicians in diabetes, endocrinology and associated specialties, or trainees in these specialties working outside the United Kingdom

You are able to pay for membership via the following methods:

  • Credit / debit card: You will be directed to PayPal where you can pay using a credit card, debit card or PayPal account
  • Direct Debit : You will receive details on how to set up your payment in your email confirmation

ABCD aim enhance our responses to provide feedback to other organisations regarding guidelines, policies and priorities through engagement with our membership. Your sub-speciality will be used to identify consultations that may be of interest to you.

From time to time, ABCD may send out emails about Type I diabetes related news items and information on relevant events and research programmes.
 

To raise funds for ABCD, we periodically distribute emails on behalf of industry companies. These messages may contain product and/or promotional information from our partners, including pharmaceutical companies.

No personal information is passed on to these companies as the mailings are completed in-house and you will receive no more than 12 of these emails per year.

 
The ABCD Members Directory allows you to search for and connect with other members directly via our website. Only your name, professional status and town are displayed. Other members will have the option to contact you through the site directly without exposing contact information such as email addresses. The members directory is a valued membership service and we hope you will agree to join it.
