We would like to invite you to attend the inaugural meeting of the Birmingham Type 1 Diabetes Symposium on the 29th September 2017 at the Winterbourne gardens, University of Birmingham in Birmingham. This meeting is for all doctors involved in the care of adults and children with type 1 diabetes, but particularly aimed at final year diabetes SpRs and newly appointed diabetes consultants. The meeting consists of keynote presentations, open debate and networking.
This will take place on the 29th September 2017 at the Winterbourne gardens, University of Birmingham in Birmingham.
The aim of the meeting is to support you with the care of T1D patients. This is now a highly specialised sub-speciality service. We aim to supplement and enhance the training provided in the national SpR curriculum around type 1 diabetes. Newly appointed Consultants who are refining and adapting an established diabetes service will also find this course useful.
