2021 London Symposium

The London Symposium has been a successful whole-day Symposium on the latest aspects of diagnosis and treatments specific to Diabetes.  This year’s symposium, the sixth in the series, is developed around the theme of the “CENTENARY OF INSULIN DISCOVERY: OLD DRUGS, NEW INNOVATIONS & NON-INSULIN THERAPIES”

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the 2021 London Symposium has been converted into two separate webinars covering several aspects relevant to contemporary diabetes management as well as treatments for cardiovascular disease. Both National and International speakers have been brought together for all lectures and informal Q & A. Please do join either one or more of the 2 meetings namely the 20th and / or the 27th of May at 4.00-6.00pm for the individual session you are interested in or the whole meeting. CPD accreditation have been applied for.

There will be a variety of different topics on the agenda including:

  • Technology to Guide Insulin Therapy (CGM and Decision Support)
  • Prevention and Intervention in Type 1 Diabetes
  • Diabetes CVD and CKD new Guidelines: Managing Diabetes During the COVID-19 Pandemic

More details can be found on the event promotional website including agenda and speaker biographies.

Prescribing information and adverse event reporting will be available at the meetings and on the Sanofi Diabetes website.
