Ana Pokrajac
Elected member of ABCD (Diabetes Care) Ltd Committee
Ana is a consultant at the West Herts Hospital Trust.
Her main interest is complex diabetes and she is working to improve management and the experience of care for patients with diabetes and chronic kidney disease (CKD). Ana is a member of the national guidelines writing group (ABCD–RA) on the topic. She is a core member of Thyroid Cancer MDT. Since 2014, together with colleagues, she is a member of the organising board for Hertfordshire Diabetes Meeting that promotes integration of all stakeholders in diabetes in the county.
In 2015, Ana was elected a National Clinical Champion by Diabetes UK.
