We at DTN-UK hope that you are managing in the current challenging environment. We have been continuing to work hard this week to ensure ongoing support for clinical teams at this busy time. The new edition of ABCD ‘Standards of care for the management of adults with type 1 diabetes’ is now available on the website, along with a short summary of the recommendations from each section.

The full version provides comprehensive standards for units providing care to people with type 1 diabetes and is intended as a resource for specialist teams.

The sections on inpatient care and management of diabetic emergencies are particularly relevant today.
