Mr. Chris Bright

As a Wales Futsal International and former University of Worcester Male Athlete of the Year in 2018, Chris has pushed the boundaries of high level sporting performance whist living with Type 1 Diabetes. He's represented the English Universities Futsal squad, played semi-professional Football for 8 years and is an Honorary Fellow at the University of Worcester, following his work in championing type 1 diabetes within the physical activity sector throughout his masters degree programme ( 2017-2021). Off the pitch/court he also works for JDRF UK as the community partnerships and events lead, whilst also founding The Diabetes Football Community to support others living with the condition.
