Naveed is a clinical academic with expertise across cardiometabolic Medicine - he has contributed to over 1400 papers, multiple guidelines and also received several awards including the Camillo Golgi Lecture and the Banting Lecture from DUK. He has also contributed to multiple lifestyle and trials of newer diabetes agents and he is on the Exec committee for several ongoing trials.
