Dr. Aaisha Saqib

Aaisha is a consultant physician working in Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London. She worked as RCP Chief Registrar from 2019-2020 and was a committee member for the national Young Diabetologist and Endocrinologist Forum (YDEF). She has co-developed the Diabetes Update course. Aaisha is passionate about quality improvement in healthcare settings mainly focusing on systems and processes and post graduate medical education. She has undertaken several trust wide quality improvement initiatives focusing on patient safety and published her work in peer reviewed journals. Aaisha has an interest in looking after young adults with diabetes, inpatient diabetes and peri-operative management of diabetes. She is the local faculty lead for registrars in training and diabetes lead for trust wide peri-operative quality improvement in diabetes (PQuID).
