Quality in Care (QiC) Diabetes are the prestigious UK & Ireland awards, which since 2011 have been recognising, rewarding and sharing initiatives that improve the quality of life for people living with diabetes.
Exceptional work has been undertaken in treatment and options available for people with diabetes and/or their families/carers. The awards are a way to recognise this outstanding work.
QiC Diabetes is partnered with Sanofi and supported by the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists (ABCD), Association of Children’s Diabetes Clinicians (ACDC), Diabetes Psychology Network, Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation (DRWF), Diabetes Specialist Nurse Forum (DSN) UK, Diabetes UK, DISN UK Group, JDRF the type 1 diabetes charity, National Children and Young People’s Diabetes Network (CYPDN), Primary Care Diabetes Society (PCDS), Trend Diabetes, United Kingdom Clinical Pharmacy Association (UKCPA) and the Young Diabetologists and Endocrinologists’ Forum (YDEF).
This is a great opportunity to win one of the prestigious awards this year and have your work shared and disseminated to a wider healthcare setting. Entries are invited from anyone working in the diabetes arena throughout the UK and Ireland.
The judging day will take place on 8 September and the QiC Diabetes 2023 Awards presentation will again take place as a live event on Thursday 12 October at Sanofi's office in Reading. The full list of categories, judging and entry information are available via the Quality in Care website. There is also an exciting new category: Peer Support.
