ABCD is proud to highlight the launch of ‘National Adviser Panel Care Home Diabetes strategic document of diabetes care’. Under the leadership of Prof Alan Sinclair, this was a significant and mammoth task of 18 months of sustained work and commitment by different organisations like ABCD and DUK. Multiple professionals who are involved with diabetes care of residents of care home contributed to the work. This document will provide much needed guidance to commissioners and health care professionals on how to improve the quality of life of residents of care home living with diabetes.
