Receiving updates from ABCD

If you are a member of ABCD, you can opt in to receive regular Member Updates (usually fortnightly, though occasionally we may send additional updates if matters arise that are of significant importance) about Type I diabetes related news items and information on relevant events and research programmes.

If you are not a member of ABCD, you can opt in to receive updates with information on ABCD programmes and other relevant diabetes care information. You will receive no more than six updates per year.

By opting out of member updates you will only receive membership renewal informtion and details on ABCD programmes for which you have registered to participate in. This will significantly restrict the information you receive about member benefits, news and opportunities.

Receiving messages tailored to you

If you choose to receive email updates from ABCD, we may also send you information that we believe would be of interest to you based on your professional role or the nature or setting in which you work. You can opt out of receiving these tailored messages at anytime by using the link in emails you receive from us.

How you can help ABCD raise funds

In order to raise funds for ABCD, we periodically distribute e-mailings on behalf of commercial companies related to your field of medicine. No personal information is passed on to these companies as the mailings are completed in-house. We hope you will agree to receiving these emails to help us raise funds.
