Dr. Vaios Koutroukas

Dr Vaios Koutroukas is a Diabetes & Endocrinology registrar and a clinical research fellow working at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. His interests include diabetes technology, medical education, and management of hypoglycaemia in people with insulin-treated diabetes. Currently he is involved in CLEAR, the largest study on hypoglycaemia unawareness to date, investigating the impact of hybrid closed loop systems in restoring awareness against the psychoeducational interventions HypoCOMPaSS and HARPdoc. He is a member of the Academy of Medical Educators
