Dr. Rajiv Gandhi
Dr. Gandhi is a Consultant Physician & Diabetologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and was the Clinical Director of the Academic Department of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism between 2017-2024. He is currently the NHS England Clinical Lead for Diabetes (Treatment & Care) for the North East & Yorkshire (NEY). He is a national expert on the management of diabetic foot disease and leads one of the largest and most successful foot units in the country. He sits on the advisory board for the National Diabetes Foot Audit, as well as on various other national working groups.
He also has an interest in inpatient diabetes management and the use of digital technologies to improve care across systems.
