Dr. Giuseppe Maltese

Dr Giuseppe Maltese is a Consultant in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Specialist in Geriatrics at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust and an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at King’s College London. His clinical and academic interests focus on diabetes in older adults, particularly type 1 diabetes, the use of technology and the intersection between ageing and diabetes. He has led improvement projects to enhance diabetes care in care homes and for housebound individuals. In 2021, he was appointed as one of 20 Diabetes UK Clinical Champions. He is a member of the Ageing Research at King’s (ARK) Advisory Board.
