ABCD DTN-UK Educators Day Manchester 2024

Manchester

Due to increasing demand for this event and to support educators in the rollout of the new technology appraisal for hybrid closed loop technology, we are pleased to announce that we will be holding two DTN Diabetes Educator events in 2024:

Each meeting can only accommodate 100 delegates and is expected to be extremely popular, early registration is recommended.  Please note this is a face-to-face meeting only and there is no online option.

What is it?
This meeting represents a unique opportunity for diabetes nurses, dietitians and technicians to keep up to date with the latest technology with our tech-speed dating sessions.  Keynote presentations by experts in their field will include the new technology appraisal for hybrid closed loop- 5-year plan. Psychological impacts of diabetes and related technologies and guidance in supporting people using diabetes technology in the inpatient setting.

Our workshops will include exercise, pregnancy, tech choice and diabetes technology in frailty and the older population.

This meeting will support educators to come together and share ideas, best practices and to network with peers who have an interest in diabetes technology or looking to enhance their knowledge.

Who can attend?
Diabetes nurses, dietitians, technicians and other HCP's who are new to this area or who are looking to improve their knowledge around diabetes technologies.

What does it cost?
We are delighted to be able to offer this meeting free of charge to all delegates. You will need to register as a member of the DTN in order to register, this is also free of charge. If you are not already a member of DTN you may join on line.
