Dr Hermione Price
Consultant Diabetologist and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer (University of Southampton)
Deputy Head of School of Medicine, Wessex
Hermione is, amongst other things, a consultant diabetologist at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospitals Dorset. Her clinical interests include the management of diabetes and obesity in people living with severe and enduring mental illness.
In addition, Hermione is joint training programme director for Diabetes and Endocrinology in Wessex and joint diabetes lead at Wessex NIHR Clinical Research Network. Hermione is a past lead for diabetes at the Wessex cardiovascular strategic clinical network.
Hermione is an active researcher and is currently supervising several PhD students.
Hermione works less than full time and is passionate about work/life balance and actively embraces the portfolio career.

Dr Omar Mustafa
Consultant physician in diabetes, and general internal medicine, King’s College Hospital, London
Honorary senior clinical lecturer, King’s College London
Global Vice President, Royal College of Physicians
Dr Mustafa is a consultant physician in diabetes, and general internal medicine based at King's College Hospital in London. He completed his undergraduate medical training in Iraq and his postgraduate training in the UK.
He is also honorary senior clinical lecturer at King’s College London and site lead for the quality improvement and evidence-based practice module.
Omar's interests include health professions and medical education, and he obtained a master’s in health professions education from Maastricht University/Suez Canal University. He is currently, training programme director for the endocrinology and diabetes higher specialist training programme, and Omar also co-chairs the Simulation Faculty at King’s College Hospital. He is a member of the RCP Speciality Advisory Committee.

Dr Mouli Banerjee
Consultant: Diabetes, Endocrinology & General Medicine
Bolton NHS Foundation Trust
Moulinath Banerjee is a consultant physician and Clinical lead in Diabetes and Endocrinology at the Royal Bolton Foundation NHS Trust. He is a member of the Diabetes Board of Greater Manchester and Eastern Cheshire SCN and joint lead of Professional Development of the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists (ABCD). He was awarded a PhD from Manchester University for research in vascular function in women with gestational diabetes. He is the Lead Tutor for Endocrinology and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Edge Hill University. He is the Divisional Lead for research in his Trust and a principal investigator in clinical trials in diabetes and cardiovascular domains. He runs a revision course for the Registrars in Diabetes & Endocrinology appearing for their Specialty Certificate Examination since 2009.

Dr Koteshwara Muralidhara
Consultant physician in endocrinology & diabetes
Central Middlesex Hospital, London
Koteshwara “Murali” Muralidhara is a consultant physician in Endocrinology & Diabetes at the Kingston Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is a member of the London type 1 diabetes network and Joint Professional Development Lead on the ABCD committee. He has an MBA from Aston University and has previously held clinical lead positions in integrated diabetes care and transition diabetes service at London Northwest University Healthcare NHS Trust. He was a Diabetes UK clinical champion (2017). His clinical interests in diabetes include integrated diabetes care, last-mile issues in delivering diabetes care to the hardly reached communities, and innovative care for adolescents and young adults with diabetes. He has been a governing body member of a CCG (2017-2020).

Dr Mamta Joshi 
Consultant Physician in Diabetes, Endocrinology and GIM
St Heliers Hospital, Epsom and St Heliers University Hospitals Trust
Honorary Consultant Endocrinologist, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust
Dr Joshi is a Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology at Epsom and St Helier Hospitals, London. She successfully navigated the CESR route in Diabetes and Endocrinology (2018) in a short span of two years. She has been a strong advocate of candidates choosing to undertake the CESR route and supported quote a few successful applicants in their journey. She enjoys academic and research interests in endocrine genetics and immunotherapy related endocrine disorders. 

Registration on site  

On arrival at 1 Wimpole Street, please make your way to the Henrietta Room. Registration will take place there from 09.30 - 10.00 when the meeting will commence.

Accommodation

You will need to arrange your own accommodation should you require it. 

Catering

There will be a designated tea and coffee break and lunch provided. We will endeavour to cater for any dietary requirements that have been specified to us beforehand.

Meeting rooms

The meeting will be held in the Henrietta Room.

Deposit payment

On registering you will be required to pay a course fee of £50. This fee will be refunded in full to all delegates who are members of ABCD at the time of the event, and who attend the course in full. The fee is NOT refundable to non-members or anyone who does not attend on the day.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your place please email info@abcd.care as soon as possible so that your place can be offered to another delegate. Please note that your course fee will only be refunded if your place can be filled from the waitlist.

Safety & security

Please do not leave bags or equipment unattended and please wear your badge at all times. ABCD cannot be held responsible for personal belongings or effects.

Whilst it is not compulsory to wear a mask during the event, you may wish to do so while moving about the building in particular. There will be hand sanitiser stations available for your use on site as well as hand washing facilities. We do politely request that you do not attend if you are displaying any Covid symptoms or have had a recent positive test result.
