Professor Debasish Banerjee
Professor Debasish Banerjee is a consultant Nephrologist and clinical lead for the Renal and Transplantation Unit at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. His research is on different aspects of cardiovascular complications of chronic kidney disease with grants from British Heart Foundation, Kidney Research UK, NIHR, AstraZeneca ESR. He is an enthusiastic teacher with teaching awards from UCL, University of Miami and St George's University of London. He is the co-Director for the Translational & Clinical Research Institute at St George's University of London. He works for the UK Kidney Association as the Co Chair of the Training and Education Committee and holds various roles in the International Society of Nephrology and European Society of Cardiology.
