ABCD CDP Course 2023 Information

Please note that you are expected to attend all sessions on each day of the programme and we cannot accept requests to attend part of the course only. 

Cost

The cost of attending the course is £625 per person, to include accommodation for 4 nights, lunch and dinner on day 1, breakfast, lunch and dinner on days 2, 3 & 4 and breakfast & lunch on day 5. Drinks are not included. You will need to pay for your own travel expenses and room extras at the hotel.

Dinner and accomodation

These will be provided on the nights of 30th and 31st October, 1st & 2nd November 2023. If you live locally and do not need dinner and/or accommodation please let me know as soon as possible.  Please note there will be some guest speaker sessions at dinner that you should attend as part of the programme even if you are not staying at the hotel.

Venue

Novotel Birmingham Centre, 70 Broad Street, Birmingham, B1 2HT. Please see the hotel website for further details.

Location

The Novotel Birmingham Centre is located in Birmingham city centre. By rail the hotel is a 15 minute walk from Birmingham New Street Rail station and there are Metro Tram stops close by.. There is car parking available on site (subject to availability) at additional charge (currently £18 per day). From Birmingham Airport, take the train to New Street Station.

Your room will be ready for check in from 14.00 on 30th October. Check out time is 12.00 on 3rd November – an additional charge may be incurred if you do not check out before this time. Please note that the concierge will be able to store your luggage once you have checked out of your room.

Bedroom amenities and hotel services

Bedrooms have individual climate control, en suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, minibar, wifi, iron and ironing board, hair dryer & satellite TV. Hotel services include a restaurant & bar and a small gym. 

Meals

Lunch and dinner will be provided on day 1, breakfast, lunch and dinner on days 2, 3 & 4 and breakfast and lunch on day 5. If you have specified a dietary requirement then this will be catered for. Please note that drinks with meals (apart from water) are at your own expense.

Registration on site

Please come to the main hotel foyer to register between 09.30 and 10.00 on Monday 30th October.

Safety & security

Please do not leave bags or equipment unattended and please wear your badge at all times. ABCD cannot be held responsible for personal belongings or effects.

Cancellation

Should you need to cancel your place at this meeting, please note that fees paid can only be refunded if we are able to fill your place with another delegate, otherwise no refunds can be given. All refunds are subject to a £10 administration fee.
