Co-opted Member of ABCD (Diabetes Care) Ltd - Lead for Transitional Care
Susannah is consultant at Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, Greater Manchester.
Diversity seems to be the best aspect of Susannah's job as she provides diabetes care within both the hospital and community setting, endocrinology and still does GIM including “on call”.
The Trust is now into its 3rd year of delivering integrated diabetes services across 4 hospitals and 4 CCGs. There is a large managerial element too as the clinical director for Cardiology, Stoke and Site lead. Susannah represents ABCD at NHS England’s Diabetes in Young People Working Group and at the RCP Diabetes & Endocrine Specialist Advisory committee.
