Poster Specifications
- Poster boards will be supplied and will be 2m high by 1m wide.
- Posters should be A0 size or thereabouts, portrait style to fit onto the boards.
- Posters will need to be fixed by means of Velcro – please bring this with you as supplies will not be available at the meeting. Sticky tape and blue-tak must not be used.
Set Up & Break Down
- Posters will be situated in and around the exhibition halls and event space.
- Posters will be available for delegates to view during all breaks and before and after the meeting sessions.
- Access to the room for setting up posters will be available on Friday 7th November: 07.00 – 08.30.
- Please ensure your poster is presented ready to view by 8.30 am latest on Friday 7th November.
- The meeting closes at 5.30pm on 7th November, after which posters may be removed. If posters are not removed at the end of the day, they will be disposed of, we are unable to retain posters.
If you anticipate having any difficulties with these timings, please let us know.
Abstracts will also be listed on our website and those which have not been published elsewhere will be published in the British Journal of Diabetes.
Awards
Two prizes will be awarded:
- Best Poster
- Best Poster by a junior Doctor
The prize for each award is a £500 travel award to present the abstract at an International conference.
