We are delighted to announce that registration for the Diabetes Update programme is now open!
Our much awaited initiative for trainees in diabetes and endocrinology will be held from the 29th - 31st January in Loughborough.
Our Diabetes Update aims to cover the diabetes section of the training curriculum for diabetes and endocrinology issued by the Joint Royal Colleges of Physicians Training Board. It is also be a great opportunity for more established clinicians to find out the latest updates in the area of diabetes.
Meeting details
This is a three-day residential course, held from Wednesday 29th to Friday 31st January 2025, which will feature both lectures and small group interactive workshops, delivered by experts in their field, with case-based discussions.
The meeting will take place at Holywell Park Conference Centre on the Loughborough University campus.
Attendance is subsidised by ABCD, discounted rates will be available for our members and places are limited.
Abstracts
We invite all course participants to submit a case abstract. If selected for the Diabetes Update 2025, an oral presentation of the case will take place in a related workshop during the meeting.
The main aim of each workshop is to discuss cases you routinely encounter in your diabetes clinics. All delegates are encouraged to submit an abstract of a routine clinical case that will be of interest to the topics described here. We are not looking for unusual cases, simply what you would see day-to-day in your clinic.
Delegates who have their abstract selected will receive a £25 discount on the course registration fee.
Abstracts submissions are welcome from Friday 30th August 2024 and the deadline for submissions is 30th October 2024.
