This guidance has been formulated by ABCD working closely with the Society for Endocrinology (SfE) and RCP London and produced in response to NHSE seeking information from the Diabetes and Endocrine societies through RCP, as to what core Diabetes and Endocrine clinical services can the NHS provide in the face of major disruption and reduced capacity for clinical teams. From the intelligence gathered, it is clear that the impact of disruption on clinical services during COVID-19 pandemic has been varied depending upon the size of the clinical teams. We hope that the guidance will provide some useful framework for the clinical team leaders and managers in the face of any further disruption of clinical services.
