Dr. Faizanur Rahman

Dr Faiz Rahman is a Consultant in Metabolic Medicine at University Hospitals of Leicester. He has a broad clinical portfolio with specialist expertise in lipid disorders, metabolic bone disease, parenteral nutrition, and the management of micronutrient deficiencies, particularly following bariatric surgery. His current research interests include lipoprotein(a) and Paget’s disease of bone. The Leicester Metabolic Bone Clinic, where he practises, has been recognised by the Paget’s Association as a designated Centre of Excellence. Dr Rahman also plays an active role in teaching and training, delivering education on lipid disorders to medical students, trainees, and multidisciplinary teams.
