ABCD Regional Meeting Yorkshire

This 3rd Yorkshire ABCD training day builds on our previous programmes to provide an excellent opportunity for up to date diabetes CPD and to network with colleagues in the region. This event is aimed at the MDT as a whole including primary care teams and hospital specialist teams treating people with diabetes.

In view of the ongoing pandemic restrictions we have decided to host this again as a virtual event and hope the participation will be as enthusiastic as last year. There will be plenty of opportunity to pose questions to the speakers online and delegates will have the opportunity to re-visit sessions after the meeting by accessing the recordings via the ABCD website.

This meeting is running as a virtual event and registration for all delegates who are Health Care Professionals is FREE of charge.

We have put together some exciting sessions with speakers of national & international repute based on feedback after last years meeting.

Topics covered will include:

  • A Workshop on Interpretation of Flash Glucose Monitoring Data
  • Complex Diabetes Management: Case Based Discussion by an MDT Panel
  • Obesity Management in the Real World
  • Diabetes Renal Disease: Referral Pathways and Management Update
  • Role of Auto-Antibodies in Diabetes Diagnosis and Management
  • What was new in Diabetes in 2020 and horizon scanning
