Clinical Director Diabetes Endocrine Services at the Wolverhampton Diabetes Endocrine Centre, New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton. Dr.Raghavan has been chair of the Wolves Diabetes Network and former Clinical lead for Retinopathy Screening for Wolverhampton. He has advocated equitable care and access to technologies for vulnerable populations. He has been an active member of the Midlands Type 1 Network, Black Country Diabetes Network and Midlands Transitional Care Diabetes Network and organised regional meetings under the aegis of ABCD. Specialist interests include Adolescent and Transitional Diabetes Care, Technology in Diabetes, Type 1 Diabetes , Pregnancy and Obesity

The Association of British Clinical Diabetologists is the national organisation of Consultant Physicians in Britain who specialise in Diabetes Mellitus. Most are also Acute General Physicians, and many are also Specialists in Endocrinology and Lipid Metabolism.
