I am delighted to announce that ABCD and the Primary Care Diabetes Society (PCDS) have formally agreed to collaborate in certain aspects of the nationwide audits of new diabetes therapies and devices. The agreement was signed at the end of November by Dr Clare Hambling PCDS Chair and Dr Bob Ryder, Clinical lead, ABCD audits of new diabetes therapies and devices. The collaboration will focus initially on collecting real world data on FreeStyle Libre in type 2 diabetes.
All ABCD and PCDS members are encouraged to join the audit and enter whatever data they have on any patients with type 2 diabetes using FreeStyle Libre whether provided by the NHS of self-funded.
