ABCD Conference 2023 Information

ABCD hospitality & registration desk

The ABCD registration and hospitality desk will be located in the Conference Centre Foyer on the from 08.00 - 19.30 hours on 5th September and from 08.00 - 17.00 hours on 6th September.

Upon registration, you will receive your conference badge. We request that you please wear your badge throughout the meeting. The conference organising team will be based at this desk throughout the conference should you have any queries.


You will need to make your own accommodation booking should you require it. There is a large variety of accommodation in Edinburgh offering a range of prices and styles.  


Accreditation for this meeting has been granted by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 6 category 1 (external) CPD credits for full attendance (code: 145314).  Certificates of attendance will be available to download from your dashboard after the event. 

Cancellation & refunds

In the event of cancellation, delegate fees are only refundable until 7th August 2023. After this date no refunds will be issued. All refunds are subject to a £10 administration fee.


Your delegate fee includes tea and coffee at designated breaks and a buffet lunch. We will endeavour to cater for any dietary requirements that have been specified to us beforehand.

Please register for the Conference in advance online and pay by debit or credit card via PayPal. We will not accept registrations on site unless we have space and this cannot be guaranteed.

Safety & security

Please do not leave bags or equipment unattended and please wear your badge at all times. ABCD cannot be held responsible for personal belongings or effects.

Whilst it is not compulsory to wear a mask during the event, you may wish to do so while moving about the building in particular. There will be hand sanitiser stations available for your use on site as well as hand washing facilities. We do politely request that you do not attend if you are displaying any covid symptoms or have had a recent positive test result.
