This impactful and interactive one day programme is run exclusively for healthcare professionals and aims to provide education and support around the topics of exercise, nutrition & type 1 diabetes and diabetes technology.

JDRF is the leading charity dedicated to funding research to treat, prevent and cure type 1 diabetes. The organisation also provides support for people living with type 1 diabetes including materials on different aspects of life with the condition that are free for healthcare professionals to order and distibute. JDRF runs Type 1 Discovery Days where attendees can hear about the latest research and meet others affected by the condition.
Exercise for Type One Diabetes (EXTOD) is an association set up by Dr Rob Andrews and Parth Narendran that aims to improve our knowledge on the risk and benefits of exercise in type 1 diabetes as well as improving the advice that is given to patients with Type 1 diabetes on how to maintain their blood glucoses in a safe range before, during and after exercise.
