Aaisha is currently working in Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust in the department of diabetes and endocrine as a Locum Consultant. She worked as RCP Chief Registrar in Medway Hospital in Kent from 2019-2020 and completed her higher specialist trainee in South London Deanery. Aaisha is a committee member for the national Young Diabetologist and Endocrinologist Forum (YDEF) and YDEF-ABCD representive. She has co-developed the Diabetes Update course. Aaisha is passionate about quality improvement in healthcare settings and medical education. She has undertaken several trust wide quality improvement initiatives focusing on patient safety and continues to mentor other colleagues and help complete successful QIPs.
