ABCD Insulin Pump Network UK Team Education Day (Derby)

6^th January 2017, The Education Centre, Derby Hospital

Following the success of the IPN-UK launch event in April 2016, which attracted over 140 delegates, the IPN committee have been working to establish further events which will provide you with a choice of location and date. These will hopefully allow consultants, SpRs, diabetes specialist nurses, dieticians and psychologists to network and learn with peers with an interest in insulin pump and related diabetes technologies. To ensure these meetings are accessible for the majority, we are delivering these events in two locations, both very accessible by train and rail, on two separate dates: one event in Derby on 6/1/17 and one event in London on 10/1/17.

Registration for the IPN-UK launch event earlier this year filled within a few weeks so we would encourage you to book your place as soon as possible. These are ‘team events’ and we would also encourage you to come to these events with your co-workers.

What is it?

The IPN-UK Derby and London events will each deliver a one day session crammed with educational material on the latest evidence base for diabetes technologies, hot topics such as pregnancy, exercise, transition and sessions dedicated to download interpretation and psychological aspects of diabetes.

When is it?

Derby on 6th January 2017 and London on 10th January 2017.

Who can attend?

Any health care professional working with patients who have Type 1 diabetes.

What does it cost?

The cost to attend an IPN team day in either Derby or London is £40 per person. You can choose which date and location is most convenient for you.
