Alice attended St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine. As well as achieving MBBS she achieved a first class honours in her intercalated BMedSci degree. Alice started her career in hospital medicine, achieving Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2006. She went on to complete her GP training. Alice has worked as both a salaried GP and GP partner in Lambeth for 11 years. In 2012 she completed the Post Graduate Diploma of Diabetes in Primary Care at Kings College London. In 2014 she joined the Lambeth Diabetes Intermediate Care Team as a GPSI in Diabetes. Alice has been working in the Diabetes Renal Clinic at Akerman Health Centre since 2017. Alice particularly enjoys the challenges involved in managing a multi-system disease such as diabetes. In addition she is keen to involve people with long term conditions, such as diabetes, in their own care. Alice is currently piloting a virtual care planning project for the Lambeth Community Diabetes Team. Alice is also Clinical Lead for cardiovascular disease for South East London CCG.
